Pricing questions
＋How does the 14-day trial work?
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day free trial of the Team plan — no card needed. The trial starts when the workspace is created, and joining an existing workspace never starts or resets a trial.
＋What counts as an active key set?
Any key set that isn't retired, whatever its status — available, checked out, awaiting handover or missing. Each set counts once, retired sets keep their full history, and they don't count toward the limit.
＋What happens when I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing, so you only pay the difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, when the lower key-set limit applies.
＋What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. After that you can still view every record, export your data, and record returns and handover cancellations — but new check-outs, handover requests and key sets are paused. Nothing is ever deleted because of a missed payment.
＋Do I need special hardware?
No. KeyDocket works with the keys you already have — you print QR labels yourself on standard Avery or comparable label sheets, or attach them to any tag.
＋What currencies do you support?
Plans are priced in US dollars. Our payment provider handles local currencies and taxes at checkout in most countries.
